To order costume or armour from Velvet Glove, we suggest you take a look through the costume section of this website to see some examples and then get in touch with us either by email or telephone, or order using the online system.
Please note we do not operate from a shop, but customers are welcome to visit by prior arrangement only.

We are happy to talk to you about your requirements, possible options and delivery times.
Many items will require your measurements when ordering, to ensure a good fit. We shall soon have a guide to measurements available.
Delivery
Velvet Glove likes to help keep the prices down and due to the bulk involved with some costume, postage and packing can considerably increase the cost, especially on larger orders.
We attend many LRP and re-enactment events throughout the year and can deliver your orders to you at these events.
If you do want your order posted to you, full payment must be received before despatch of the order.
Postage and packing is usually 12% of the item cost but heavy or bulky items may cost more. You can pay for your order by cheque or postal order made out to 'Velvet Glove', or via the online system which uses Paypal. We can now take most credit and debit cards at events or over the telephone
Terms and Conditions
For some items either 50% deposit or full payment may be requested beforehand. Prices do not include postage, packing or delivery.
VAT We are not VAT registered and as such cannot issuse VAT receipts.

International Orders
International postage is added on as a seperate item in addition to standard postage. It is approximately an additional 5% for Europe and 10% for the rest of the world. Any import duties are the customers responsibilty.
